Highest point of the Comino Loop trail. Views of the entire island, Blue Lagoon, Gozo and Malta.

The north cliffs are the highest point on the entire island — about 75 metres above sea level. From the summit, you get a 360-degree panorama: to the south Blue Lagoon and Malta, to the north Gozo, to the west open sea to the horizon. On clear days you can see the outline of Sicily.
This is also a shearwater breeding ground — an endangered seabird species. BirdLife Malta runs a conservation project here, monitoring nesting and ringing chicks. Shearwaters nest in rock crevices and are active only at night — flying over the sea, hunting fish by moonlight.
